Founded in 2020 by architects Marcus and Oratai (Ploy), our studio is a multi-disciplinary design studio based in both Hong Kong and Thailand. We specialise in residential, hospitality and adaptive reuse projects. Driven by our sensitivity to context and curiosity in exploring local materials along with its cultural heritage, our studio performs both research and design.

As our design methodology, we archive material cultures, document spatial interactions and research historical contexts in order to deepen our knowledge on the complexities of our environment.

Marcus is an Architect (RIBA/ARB) and architectural photographer based in Hong Kong. Prior to attaining his M.Arch degree at the AA School of Architecture in London, he developed a deep interest in photography through his travels, treating his photographs as memorabilia. His in-depth understanding of image making is at the core of his work and design methodology.

Ploy is an Architect (RIBA/ARB) and designer who also graduated at the AA School of Architecture in London (M.Arch) and now based in Bangkok, Thailand. She investigates vernacular material culture and modes of collective living in the tropical region.
